The Artist
Jehu Sanchez is a first-generation American musician, producer, and songwriter whose artistic identity is deeply rooted in his dual-cultural upbringing in Los Angeles. Raised in a Spanish-speaking household, Jehu grew up immersed in the music industry, learning the craft firsthand from his musician father. His formal training began with childhood piano and voice, later peaking at age 15 with a transformative mentorship under Salomon Loyo, the acclaimed keyboardist for Luis Miguel. By 17, Jehu was performing locally, eventually evolving into a versatile performing keyboardist, singer and collaborator for numerous musical acts.
Influenced by legendary icons ranging from Armando Manzanero and Juan Gabriel to Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, Jehu’s signature style blends romantic ballads, soul, and Latin pop into a deeply authentic experience.
